48 hours in paris spent like a local | travel guide!

hi hello how's it going it's Lena welcome back to my channel hello from P I hope you're doing well if you've seen some my other content I've been to Paris a good amount of times and I feel like I've covered a lot of the touristy ground so I wanted to make a video today that has like a little bit more of a theme to it and I was like it would be really cool if I made a video that was experiencing Paris like a local so I texted several of my Parisian friends like French friends that either were born here or have lived here their whole adult life and kind of asked them like what they would do on their ideal Weekend in Paris and took some suggestions and made a little itinerary obviously this really depends on who you're asking there's a million ways you can do Paris I'm obviously primarily asking people who are in their like 20s and 30s and bit artsier creative but I feel like a lot of the suggestions I got are like in the 3rd in the fourth the 10th 11th are deal wise it is rainy and gloomy as hell because it's fall in Paris so obviously no surprise there so I'm excited to check out some stores and restaurants and cafes and bars it's perfect timing because two friends are visiting from New York just one right after each other Ashley and Gabby so they will be coming with me which is perfect because I get to do this with them and explore a little bit more Paris you know see some spots that I've loved in the past as well as just take some racks from some friends who actually are from here I'm excited to go on a little Parian adventure and I wanted to show you guys the jewelry popped over from London you want to pop up some do eat some good food do some exploring it's a bit rainy so it's not ideal weather we're making the most of it and so let's see Paris like a local w Wait that's so good what you say it's one of the best yeah it's incredible not to be dramatic or anything but that might be one of the best kind of shots we' ever had in Paris I mean if a bakery has been opened since 1875 they've got to be doing something right and next up of course is coffee there's this really cool concept Cafe called Bono Jacob which is just right around the corner it has this great selection of books and magazines and of course incredible coffee what you looking at you know John LCA tamori of course really beautiful black and white prints I'm like okay now I need an apartment of my own like having one of these is so cool like wow oh great art to frame my favorite activity in Paris biking around and I love the lime bikes cuz she's electric not sponsored okay but for real biking around the city is one of my favorite pastimes personally it's really the only way I get around I love the line bikes cuz they're electric so they are so much fun to ride and it's just a great way to save Paris we are now headed to what's it called the room it's an amazing vintage store super cool like vintage kind of higher end vintage yeah I stumbled upon it over the summer and one of our friends got an incredible bag for like 1/8 the price that it normally would sell for so we're going to check it out we'll see what happens we'll see what happens dangerous maybe not gorgeous okay a moment ready to fight some crime I feel like a Power Ranger that's that's what it is yeah giv a very sexy Power Ranger I got a little SP I was feeling crazy cheers wow we have our the iconic iconic I dream about this it's so I dream about it I don't know what they do to their Ione it's definitely not like a hidden spot by any means it's very popular but it's popular for reason especially if you want a cheaper meal and it was right next to the Vintage stories we were popping into like literally a 2minute walk we're just trying to escape from the rain of course it's rain very rainy day good representation of real life fall cheers to lunch like there has to be another way there has to be another way there's no need to go down there this is what everyone's doing are you kidding me this is so s we said we said the local experience all right well there it's right there well that was chaotic tws for us so our local day has turned a little chaotic the subway completely shut down and they basically had to crawl out onto the track to leave which I've never had to do before hopefully everyone is okay and safe so now we are walking like 25 minutes home because also the streets are shut down anyways so we spent the day in L in the 18th which are some of my favorite neighborhoods to hang out in and so lovely it was so lovely right now we're headed back we're going to have a little chill time and head out to like Belleville area to meet up with our friend Charlene who proper Parisian and take a drink and maybe a bite and see where the I we have Charlene and we have Lily the local tour guys so Charlene wanted to show me several spots in this part of town the first being oi that's kind of the perfect example of what she described as a very local spot here with the classic TR that she go to with friends for cheap drinks and just to hang all night long I love good morning hi everyone we are headed to brunch Paris yes uh a recommended first stop would be partisan which we would just walk by but I've already had a cup of coffee and I I'm holding out for brunch we're going to Caff Berry fingers crossed bet yes we came here in June and it was so nice sorry I think it's crossed let's go so Cathy Barry has some incredible brunch and Bak Goods I highly recommend we took our time walking around l Mar before Kat the line for to go to one of the world's biggest flea markets San which is this amazing huge antique and secondhand Market there go there we go in the market for a painting are we yeah would you ever decorate your home like this uh no but I can appreciate it for what it is but it's a little chaotic and odd for me a little too Majestic yeah a little yeah a little too Regal a little too Regal I want this bookshelf I will say to have all my books on there the lad oh yeah the ladder that is my dream oh wait what she looks so warm and I'm so cold right now oh my gosh wait try this on looks really warm the color I think it's a little wide for you very cool though all right we did it we did it that was great very cool that's what I was hi everyone hey y'all two girls in black we're back we needed a little rest so now feeling revitalized and we're going to go for dinner let's go eat love I feel like it's where we end up spending all of our time literally every single day wa here every and we're back oh my God the flao placees at the
