foreign I'm about to head out to some events this weekend is packed with events so if you like events in a vlog you're in luck I'm about to head out to the flower shop which is a bar used to go to a quite a bit back in the day I'm actually meeting up with Paige if you keep up with the YouTube gals based here in New York then there's a good chance you probably know who Paige is so she's gonna meet me at the flower shop to go to this kooples event and then we are headed to a seated dinner with rubies which is a great restaurant here in New York also I got this new raffy brow beauty product and I'm in love there is weak it's absolutely crazy for me I have so much work and editing to get done before I fly out next week and I'm also gonna be seeing lots of friends I think we'll have a Christmas party they're always hosting different themes to parties like every season so there's a lot of fun things going on I need to finish getting ready here because I have about 10 minutes and then let's hit some events those days we went to a dinner for rubies yeah it's a cafe here in New York City we love every single waiter and bartender we made a little prayer circle and wrote our numbers AKA just me and Harry and then we gave our numbers that was really ballsy that Linda is gonna get attacked I'm not gonna get attacked but also in my defense the guy is married so like basically I'm not gonna be the other woman there is a chance that this footage could be played at their wedding because stay tuned we are feeling some kind of way crazy out here because good morning up I'm alive I'm well and I'm gonna go to coffee shop there's a newer one in my neighborhood and very excited to check it out just a working day I already started getting set up over here it honestly feels good to like have my tasks and what I need to do just get them done I'm kind of like working a bit overtime but you're not really staying on camera I still have done swims in California I can just chill out reset relax with the family let's get some coffee though first things first we're losing leaves winter is coming and a new book it's a good day we got a Christmas tree I really need to get my roommate in this but she's not home Laura's my little heart and I am going to decorate it a little bit further now favorite ornament of all that my roommate got I'm absolutely obsessed with Jesus so this is near and dear to my heart hi how's it going um I'm definitely feeling some kind of way before the end of the year for one this was the craziest year of my life to date by a long shot also I just I'm not sure what 2023 is going to look like at all I feel like I want to make some adjustments I feel like another 26 I'm trying to figure out some more strategic career plans speaking of goals I'm almost done with my book goal for 2022 which was about 40 books I've recently read some really interesting ones there's two by fire by Leonard Cohen which is really interesting about the Yom Kippur War of 1967 I believe in the Sanai Peninsula between Israel and Egypt and doesn't go necessarily the politics of the war a ton but it's more so stories of soldiers as well as the fact that Leonard Cohen the amazing Singer went to the front lines to sing and it's kind of this like interesting Patchwork like storytelling stories of the soldiers and their experiences front line them seeing their Cohen manuscripts and Leonard Cohen and it actually was like really beautifully done like oh I also really like the self-necessary sins for girls and women by Mona way I'm probably butchering that she's an Egyptian activist and this book is about basically leaning into all the things that we have been told as women we should withhold from we should restrain from Etc like power anger um attention lust Etc and she doesn't in a really profound way I love too that she has a mix of Storytelling and statistics so I think storytelling is what like keeps you interested but I want the stats there to know that it's backed up by like factual numbers and I recently read Giovanni's room by uh James Baldwin oh my gosh James Baldwin is a prolific writer an iconic writer especially this is a gay love story and it's just like oh broke my heart apart so if you want some beautiful writing if you want Paris back in like the 1950s do you want to wallow in grief um check out this book I have to go get ready birthday put on this little dress from Dish we're going with it it's so cold and artists artists at work yeah wow wow mine's giving SpongeBob I realized boys how are we doing a lovely day uh try to get some work done up there I feel like I'm really just chugging to get to like the end you know like the finish line of 2022 and I have no clue well my plans are for 2023 like really at all I'm like where am I going what am I doing with my life I don't know I do need to get changed though I'm gonna go get dinner with the girls no more thank you Stars missing here's like last and she might have looked up again officially for anyone who's curious of my workout Journey maybe nobody is but I'm not sure nonetheless I am transitioning from f-45 to Equinox after years of doing at 45 I feel like f45 is good for like intense cardio and it was really effective when I first started but it's time for something new so I'm excited for this little journey start like being more meticulous with like training different parts of my body if you want to join me come along I'm working from home for a couple hours after your shoot at the vet extremely chaotic the air is crisp I feel like this I crimped my hair and I'm honestly obsessed here's the little fit I got this in like one of my last Vlogs at the Denver flea market and they have some of the best jewelry there it's fun June originated it was founded in San Diego so a bunch of my friends worked for them right after college this is very much like part of my college experience so it's fun it's like fully really expanded to New York and then I haven't worked Jacob's event so another day another bath no sleep for me my cozy holiday days will kick in once I'm in California so for now we're off we're getting uh California I accidentally moved back to my parents because the pandemic so I'm back in California I always come back for the holidays that's where my family is that's where I grew up you're in Suburban Orange County I'm really excited because this time for once I'm actually renting a car through turo which I tell you a lot more about in a second here but I'm actually gonna go pick up the car with my sister sage and we're gonna have a little Laguna Beach day happy to be here let's go so I like went through the tour up and I like parted a bunch of different fun cars I was like should I be crazy should I went to Maserati but I ended up going with the cutest Ford Bronco I'm so obsessed my sweet sister dropped me off and the cutest car is crazy sir I can't get it she's bad there's an obstacle no we made it to Laguna booked this like three days ago um and it was super easy because he just left it um this is like it's a modern car so he can virtually lock and unlock which is crazy which is crazy so a little Ontario as I said earlier today's sponsor makes it so easy to rent a car these days like a peer-to-peer Marketplace for cars so I'm renting somebody's personal car and you could rent your own car out for cash and when you go on there's over like a thousand plus different cars models makes years you name it a more simple car if you have a smaller budget all the way up to like a Ferrari if you wanted that it makes the car rental experience so much easier you just go on the App you pick a car you send a message to the person when you run from essentially and it takes away that awful experience having to go up to like a rental car Booth like the airport and like you don't know what car you're gonna get and it's just it's unfortunate a lot of different car owners offer different drop-ups for services to sometimes to an airport near you to your home if you wanted to so I did one to an area not far from my home have this one home in California which just relieves so much stress and I have to like borrow a car whenever I'm home I'm old I'm 26.
