And I've obviously been across the pond for a little bit, but I'm back and I'm gonna have a lovely weekend with friends that I'm very excited about. I booked this trip literally like a week ago because my friend's boyfriend is having a show and just like all the friends that are in town at the same time.

I haven't been back in the States in like 6 months, which is crazy. We're getting closer. So, it's honestly really nice to just to even be back in the US. Go to like Target and CVS and Trader Joe's. Like, it's all the little things that you start to miss when you've been gone a long time. Look at this cute little fire escape. It's like if you miss one, you're waiting like 10 minutes. The next one was in 10 minutes and it's hot in a subway station still. So, especially after you've sprinted. Take me by the hand. Sage and I had a fairly uneventful time in Manhattan. We were trying to go to my storage unit, go to a few different places. It didn't quite pan out. But now I'm back in Brooklyn and I'm getting ready right now. Putting on a little outfit as you can see cuz I'm about to head into the city. I'm going to meet up with a bunch of friends and get drinks at Low House and then head to a MUA party which should be really fun. Jacob London. London. It's such a hot day for September.

The media was tied. I look like I'm going to a punk show, but it works. Hello, Loise. How you doing? I'm trying to find it. Don't escape. I'm a sleepy gal. The jet lag is hitting me. Did not get a lot of sleep last night, but I had a really fun time seeing friends and going to a little kind of fashion week event. It felt very New York. It is so interesting being back. I love New York. I love the energy. So much of my time here was like my early to mid20s.

And since I've left, I feel like I've like fully entered my late 20s and you just kind of feel that shift. Friends have moved away. A lot of my friends are in like very serious relationships and it's just kind of like a different chapter of life. And it's fun staying with my sister who's 24 and meeting her friends and staying in this apartment cuz it reminds me so much like peak time living in New York full-time. What's really nice is that I feel like when I was in my mid20s, I was so scared of those changes.

I was so scared of those shifts and like feeling so lost. And it's so beautiful to come back knowing that a lot of those questions that I was wondering in my like quarter life crisis are like not necessarily answered. But I have so much peace with just like being along for the journey in the ride and knowing that, you know, things are going to work out one way or another no matter what. Even though, like I said, it's not like everything's figured out and I know like where I'm going and what I want to do and all these things.

I just have that like internal peace I guess that comes a bit with time and age where you're like, you know what, I don't have to know and like it's a beautiful journey. This is the mid20s. It's like, oh my god, what's going on? I'm like, it's going to be okay. And I love New York. It's always going to be a part of my life, even if I'm not like living here full-time. DB big moves happening in 2026. Beep. But I know I will always have a place here. And yeah, going to do some more exploring today.

Hit some friends. It's beautiful. The weather has kind of been crazy. Like the reports have been super rainy, but every day I wake up and we have these amazing studies ahead of us. Look at this. Not that I was counting. Good morning. Standing on the corner head down to your baby. I was born before you, but I'm too young for this. We're at McNau in Jackson, which used to be a favorite when I lived here. I can't resist the bookstore. I need to read. Fair enough. That's my issue. I love going to bookstore to find Rex because the book shop workers, what do you call that?

Like the book clerks. The bookstore librarian have really good wrecks slash the books that are usually put out on display or put on display. Yes, for marketing, but usually because for a reason they're having a moment. They're well done. I always get my best wrecks that way. Oh, excuse me. I know a friend. I haven't read this one yet. I've tried reading it and I keep getting bored. I want to like it. I just finished this book last week. I've read that one. The Stranger by Kimu never know. I will say the people watching New York City is inable.

Anytime I visit New York, I try to get like all my little bits done and do all the appointments that I haven't quite figured out. in France or London yet. I'm about to go to get a lash lift and I honestly love them. I'm not a huge makeup gal. We like to keep it easy. So, I have my little small high maintenance appointments to be about maintenance. Hello from back home. The lashes are feeling lifted. Um, that is a crazy angle, but glad I did that. Once again, I have to very quickly get dressed because heading out to a little DJ set, which should be fun because I feel like I used to go to so much house music last year and the year before and I literally have like not gone out once in 2025.

So, I need a little boogie with all my friends. I'm very excited. And then I popped to a little Prada event cuz if Prada invites you, you say yes, I'm on my way. Once again, this is just a crazy day running around New York. I'm also editing a little bit, working a little bit. I forget how much energy I expend in this city. But yeah, enough chitchat. Let's go.
