hello oh is this thing focused okay there we go hello how's it going it's elena and welcome back to my channel i am bringing you guys a little vlog today which i'm excited about i get ready for my day bring you guys along couple days here in new york like a day or two working and day exploring most of my days are spent in my bedroom which is not the most exciting so i figured i'd show you guys around this weekend kind of exploring and seeing the fall colors showing you some of the best restaurants around here someone's stuff to do the usual let's get into it i figured i'd do a little like it's really good if you have normal skin sensitive skin or um dry skin like myself what's cool too is it's clinically tested so it keeps you hydrated for 26 hours so if you are running errands if you're out about if you're working this is gonna keep your skin feeling silky smooth so there's also this little moisturizing eye balm which is great for you know the lines you get under your eyes for just being awake and again that's 26 hour hydration which i need i get so dry and winter i get like a lizard so there's also the makeup removing cleansing balm which i don't need i don't really have any makeup on the morning it smells so good it's super hydrating you can also take your makeup off with it which is i think a win-win lastly we've got the aqua balm hydrating toner which is for all u.s is very real and i know in europe places are going back into lockdown and it's just a really hard time for a lot of people i think a lot of us hoped by now life would be back to normal it is not it doesn't seem like it's gonna be happening anytime soon i hope you're finding ways to stay healthy and happy i hope you know little chill vlogs like this can bring you a little bit of like distraction from everything going on in the world right now i think just finding little things to look forward to as tiny as they are is like crucial for surviving this year i turned 24 in like about a week and i'm like oh my gosh that's kind of old he's also young at the same time like i never want to be somebody that fears growing older i was going to be pretty excited and looking forward to it but having a weird of a job as youtube it's it's tricky to measure yourself to the typical societal standards of where you should be at a certain age which are absolute but still we all fall trapped to that it's the year of survival and you know personal growth it may not be so much the year of like massive career growth or huge experiences it's more of surviving this year and i think that's a healthy mindset is to be kind to yourself and just focus on surviving get one from one day to the next that's what i'm really really trying to do better at trying not to give in the feeling that my twenties are passing me by i haven't been vlogging a ton recently because i just spent most of my time inside this bedroom or wandering around new york city but i am going to go get change get a little work done and bring you guys along greetings from my work desk setup with my monitor i figured i'd show you guys a little bit of how i get my life organized i really love notion for planning my life out figuring out my task list trello i use with my management as a way of figuring out what brand deals i have coming up it's also a great way to organize your life and then finally i use google calendar like a mad woman and i like sort out all my videos that i have coming up and all that good stuff and then i love to write out my notes so i kind of start with the most important to do top i often make a contact list because i feel like i frequently feel like i have like emails i'm behind on and then i usually make like a secondary section of things that i really need to get done but are not the top priority so i don't get as distracted by them i focus on what's on this list i personally just love the feeling and the satisfaction be able to cross something off so that's why i like using a notepad every day and it often gets messy so i've kind of given up on bullet journals for now so time to get some work done i am about to take a little break and i'm gonna go shoot some photos with my assistant carissa i don't think you guys have met yet she's great this is a little fit it's funky totally mismatching patterns and colors which is kind of my favorite thing all these albums are from newly which i'm a huge fan of because it's like a sustainable way to add pieces to my wardrobe and constantly be able to switch them out because it's a rental service but yeah let's go take some photos on the street and then we have to come back and work super exciting i know okay i forgot to vlog earlier so i changed outfits hello everybody she's helping me take some photos out here on this brisk day i don't know what day it is so it's a great day to be alive we both agreed that we're like kind of out of it but yeah just we're trying our best and this is what you have to do in the pandemic when you have nothing cool going on in your life so i have no reason to get dressed up so this forces me to get dressed otherwise i'm in sweats all the time hello greetings from the west village about to walk up a bunch of stairs and get out of breath but we're going with it i just finished up work and now i'm headed to my friend ashley's apartment ashley and gabby to have a little dinner together and i just passed by stonewall inn which if you're unfamiliar is basically the kind of like launching ground of the gay rights movement in the late 60s early 70s like the stonewall riots breath but i recommend you google it it's a really special beautiful place and i've noticed they have a lot of protests there right now in regards to like black lives matter and like trans rights so iconic i'm not used to being high every time just got home i finished a little hit workout got my overpriced chai latte ran into timothy chalamet for the second time this year on the street it's gonna be a good day i'm feeling good that is what i consider a great start to your week so cheers to that cheers to timothy hello good morning how's it going i have just been getting some work done here this morning about to head to a doctor's appointment and have some other stuff throughout the day i feel like i've been working inside my apartment just non-stop this whole freaking week and so i'm finally getting out of the house today and figured i'd bring you guys along here is the fit at the moment got some fun pieces from newly how cute are these shoes styling i've been stuck here for a while and i'm slowly getting you straight but i can't help it if i start going insane my new favorite pastime is looking up straight easy apartments and that is listed right now on street easy as a penthouse how crazy would be to live in that to basically try all of chinatown i think it's my favorite place to eat in new york city at the moment because for one you're supporting local businesses there's a lot of mom and pops here that have struggled throughout the pandemic two is extremely affordable it's probably the most affordable food you can find in manhattan in my personal opinion like you can get great like dim sum or honestly full entree for a really good price and three it's just freaking incredible it's so tasty i love it so much asian food is probably my favorite cuisine okay i'm out here with fletcher in chinatown we met like last week at williamsburg and then we just ran into each other again in manhattan it's destiny hi i'm kelsey i'm mj and the university it's so cute and full and she's from buyer bay australia i'm always friends from southern california so i feel like it's like fall festivities are so fun to get together and there's such a novelty for
