but why do I continue to write why don't you come here hello hello from beautiful Sicily I have always wanted to come to Sicily I've been to a few places in Italy but never this far south so this is such a dream I'm here doing another friend trip thank you we're staying in Palermo and we're going to be exploring the gorgeous Island here kind of how we decide on Sicily is we were looking on Airbnb we're like oh where should we stay and we came across the most stunning like Palace essentially and we're staying here for the next seven nights I'm gonna give you guys a full tour it is crazy that is one of the amazing things about traveling with a big group of friends is that when you split things like seven or eight ways it's quite affordable very excited to explore the coastline in different beaches you know go for a boat ride and see what this place has to offer so let's go around in my pajamas with my shoes on in this Airbnb I feel like it's a cry like I feel like I'm in a museum and I can't touch anything we got some breakfast we'll have a little workout said to burn ugly again come to Palermo the beaches to get to you pretty much have to drive or you can rent scooters this beach is very Rocky it's absolutely stunning not the best for laying down but there's another beach around the corner the Mediterranean Sea is calling me I've missed her let's go foreign faces beating the water such a unique like natural beauty God it's just so relaxing to be here there's so much to see and Sicily definitely requires like a full road trip we're only gonna need to see a little bit but we're definitely gonna Explore More in the next couple days so I'm very excited to like check out some spots let you guys know our favorite it's kind of like vacation mode for most of us some people took off work some more work remote but for the most part it was like a proper August European Little Summer week away I am very happy very grateful to be here right now Jesus Christ it's like a wow it feels like it's been years oh cute they will be here good morning from the most dramatic setup ever it is currently August in Sicily but it's so special to be here this is like a friend trip that we planned for many months I've been lucky enough to be able to be a bit more nomadic this year and been spending a lot more time in Europe and I feel like I have such a great appreciation for the European way of living and viewing summer as opposed to the New York City way I'm truly so over that hustle grind culture I feel like a lot of this year has been uncovering the beauty of like enjoying the simple moments the slow moments the long dinners the walks in nature with friends which I appreciate all the little moments a little more on that note I think I'm ready for some coffee let's go get some coffee I'll let you be we are in tarasini we just went to a lovely little beach we're about to go out a little boat tour so me and Nick want to hunt for you know found it we found it three years per bottle he opened it for us but not without being like don't judge a short King by his cover we've seen Palermo would come back again we haven't seen The Last of Us awesome boy ah quite sleepy this morning we are living I guess the Italian summer way in staying out to at least 2 A.M every night just going to very very late dinners and drinks well I'm very excited because we are meeting up with this guy Nicholas who runs the tourism account visit Sicily he's a local Sicilian guy and he's actually picking me and the gals up today to do like a little tour guide trip today we're gonna go to scapella with him for a couple hours he's kind of show us his favorite spots freshly picked almonds coming right up yeah oh wow I have no idea where are we right now it means protect area and it's about maybe 30 kilometers so along the way you find these small beaches I think the first one is the best one you can actually see a hiking exactly from here until there so you can see I'm sweating yeah or elsewhere highly recommend yes check out visit this week yes Gabby what'd you think that was one of the best swims of my life ever that was amazing I know it's so much it's amazing we're now in the very cute little town of skopello very bright and hot but honestly not too busy we're on our way to get lunch I don't know I can't do this he had to stay there with the iconic area an old fishing factory that's since been turned into a beautiful hotel on private beach and mussels it looks good yeah no no no no no no no we got Gap we got we got meat we're on our way to get a little Sunset drink something she's ready she's ready hello I haven't vlogged much today today was mostly little work remote day so I do have to get some work done while here and now I'm headed from our Airbnb to go meet the whole crew I said a local Piazza I'm so excited look how cool this looks of the royal family yes absolutely the wife of a father we've got all the kids would come over to my house in the garden and my kids were literally getting all right at 14.

like there were no kids they're like married I guess collect all the plans make little potions I think we're ready for a good meal so excited to walk around the streets because then I like you like the energy of everyone is just very yes I always give it no call me by your name it feels stress me out of that it's like honestly like magical like a place you could just sit in for hours it is you can see I feel like I always get the question of how do I stay active and feel healthy and fit on vacations but honestly all you need is just a little bit of space middle age this was the the cast of The Palace or the prince of pantaleria this we call Simply the Blue Room yeah where did he get most of these pieces like the artifacts and my uncle doesn't have any kids I always say that here every single piece is like a party's family this is we call chatroom quiet space and apart from all these rooms there are five bedrooms here we are in the library of the Palazzo there are more than 10 000 pieces and they are made with the beers or Ivory thing this came from tibeta but this upper part comes from England this is a table who can easily ask 16 people a monkey coach yes he collected them in more than 40 years so it's a good life of collecting we want to feel private but open to host people the best time is when I host people who are really interested and passionate and I see I realize that they are having a great time spending time here with their friends 12.

oh my God how about people on dinner party at the palace at the Palazzo this should be like the life for us just nourishing the group try not to survive so we walk forever cozy kitchen Vibes surrounded by people we love so good food refreshable ingredients in my room for a second um oh my gosh I am so happy my heart is so full these are my favorite kinds of moments yes it's an extravagant setting but the simplest little things of sharing a meal and like one conversation with people you love that's kind of what this week has really been all about we've seen a lot of beauty but it was a lot of just slowing down and like connecting this is our last night getting to have this lovely little dinner party everyone's pitching in and cooking something and we're gonna have wine I'm gonna play like charades later and games my dream summer evening so let's go sign me up watching
