one two three i have not done like a new york city chatty little vlog in a hot moment and i have so many exciting things to update you guys on big things coming up how are you how are you doing it's been a minute well first thing merch launched i was planning on posting on instagram and then making a video in the next few days um y'all sold this out in less than 24 hours this hoodie sold out in an hour and then the crew neck sold out in literally a day so that's insane you know that feeling when you're like gonna throw a birthday party and you're like is anyone gonna actually show up it's kind of i felt with this i was like is anyone actually gonna like want it or but i'm so excited and proud of how it turned out i wanted to make it as sustainable as possible so these like the actual hoodie itself is made from a mix of organic cotton and recycled polyester and they are like individually dyed in los angeles at a small local factory it took me forever to get this color the way i wanted it it was a lot of trial and error i really like researched and spent a lot of time picking out like the actual sweatshirt itself so it has like a nice heavy weight too and it feels at least i hope to you as well very high quality as you can see it says coastal state of mind on the front and then on the back i kind of goal and inspiration with it was to kind of combine the two places that have shaped me most of my life growing up in southern california and spending so much of my youth there and then moving to new york where i've now been for three and a half years i really wanted to make merch that was just a cool design i didn't want it to be necessarily about me just inspired by certain things in my life like i wanted to be something that everybody could wear whether you watch my videos or not do one more relaunch of these designs and then they are going away forever so stay tuned if you don't follow me on instagram and you want a piece i'd highly recommend following me on the party so i'm really excited i actually ran into the sweetest gal on the street yesterday who was wearing this sweatshirt it was like the spiderman meme where she was like ah i was like it was really sweet and i'll show you guys the crew neck too so this is the other crew neck i know this mix of like a blue and a bit of a purple almost very light subtle tie-dye again state of mind and then it just has a really fun collage of different things i love on the back you know we got the subway line we have a film camera palm trees they're both so comfy and cozy i've been wearing them non-stop so that's the update on merch next massive life update while we're at it i fly out next week and i'm going to be traveling for two months straight creating a self-produced travel docu-series are you kidding me if you've watched my channel you know i have been wanting to do something like this i've been talking about doing something for this for so damn long i've been planning with my sister's gonna come with me on every step of the way for the past eight months or so i've had ideas like this floating around for like many years but the last eight months were like let's actually do this thing so the gist of it is essentially we're going to be circling the mediterranean visiting five different countries and then i'll travel to additional three after but that's a different story highlighting women who are breaking barriers within their own communities and cultural contexts through arts entrepreneurship athletics to basically shed light on women's diverse experiences around the globe kind of highlighting different cultural elements historical elements as well specifically what that woman is doing the inspiration of it is like think anthony bourdain i'm a big fan of anthony bourdain and parts unknown but instead making it a female focused youtube version so you know more casual more goofy more on the go specifically highlighting women and the places they're from we're going to be essentially going to madrid spain athens greece cairo egypt tunis tunisia and marrakech morocco found five incredible kick-ass women who were basically gonna be going around with for a day or two who are going to be showing us the neighborhood that they live in through their eyes and they're going to be talking about what their passion is and everyone has such a unique and interesting story and is doing like the coolest and breaking barriers in such a unique way and i'm so excited to get to tell about other stories and let them tell their own stories as well and i just i can't believe it's finally happening planning every step of it along the way completely on our own i'm paying for it out of pocket so it's essentially like i'm viewing it as reinvesting back into my business or my brand or my youtube channel it's been a lot of planning and prep but i'm also just like so excited to finally be doing this thing that i'm really passionate about it's not something either too that's gonna be necessarily like super viral clickable on youtube um but i'm hoping to some of you guys out there who are interested in these things that will be beneficial and valuable and entertaining and interesting to you guys i'm always interested when i travel new place to learn more about the country's culture you know the geopolitical context the history so we'll be doing a little bit of that it's really really cool to also be able to like do a sister project i'm like combining our shared passions and i think skill sets and bringing them together to create something all right that's a lot of chit chat for me this is gonna be a very cutie little vlog my friend wesley's coming in town we're gonna have just a very like quintessential new york weekend bopping around doing all the things today is just a bit of a work day for me i have like a lash appointment i have to do some editing i'm going to a fun event with anne marie from your mom's house tonight so that'll be cute but yeah enough chit chat let's get on with the day here are my cutie little eyelashes ripping my life out which is crazy i am very grateful to have some type a tendencies because it's friend's boyfriend started knickerbocker and they're having like a party at their store so we're gonna go to that and i invited a bunch of people which is really nice it's really fun to have a friend visit from california you get to show them a bit of my life really great to see a bunch of my new york friends before i like peace out for a while it's bittersweet because new york is just so beautiful right now like i haven't really vlogged in new york in a minute some of my past vlogs i was like not doing the hottest but life has been looking up things have been good we get a little
