hello how's it going it's Alanna and welcome to my channel if you're new here hi so stoked that you're here so today I'm bringing you guys a video that has been am I like to make video list for probably I want to say eight months now back in like early 2018 in California I made these videos that were what California college students are wearing it was really fun to make a video of like the style and the trends at that time in that location and ever since then I have been meaning to make what people in New York City are wearing type of video I always love when a public you should just like a street style article I always end up stalking all the photos after Fashion Week to see what people are wearing and I looked up on YouTube when there wasn't a ton of youtubers that have made anything like it I did find one gal who has like a bit of a series making these types of videos I'll be sure to link her below if you want to check her up but other than that I haven't seen a lot of people do it here in New York but are just youtubers and so I figured it'd be really fun to finally make this video that I have been putting off for so long I think part of these I've been putting it off is because it's really scary to go to strangers and get rejected a bunch of dies so if anything I'm like you know what it's a good exercise I'm putting myself out there so I'm about to finish getting ready and then I'm gonna head to Soho and ask the people what they're wearing and hopefully a few people say yes let's go stop the streets of New York we're about to start tracking the streets of New York to try to find some people to track down to hopefully say yes hopefully I don't get rejected too often tee blaq here's my outfit of the day I am currently wearing this jacket it's originally from beta but I'm currently renting it from newly which is a great like sustainable way to have more pieces in your wardrobe without having to buy this shirt is from stoned immaculate I believe pants are thrifted and then the boots are from roc which is like an Australian brand so that's the outfit and yeah stay tuned we're gonna go find some New Yorkers also I got two friends me just say we have Henry and Tory hi you're gonna be trekking around together you think credible videographer try out his stuff she's gonna read the homie she's always around to help hi my name is about your guys's style inspiration my style really there's range from like very pastel to like off so I guess today I feel it more thought that I get a lot of inspiration from like a girl so far from like my Gothic Lolita style said like Japanese clothes so I mean like it's not really a New York style but it's not a modern style that would say like hey I got a lot of information but like most of the time I sounds really comfortable something that like I can move in I don't like fuels or things that are too flashy you guys wanna told me a little about your outfits like what you're wearing right now my jewelry is my chanell undershirt and then this I actually got this from Olivia I went Lincoln chocolate there hi what's your name Steven its bombing at bushy eyebrows what is your style inspiration I find out inspiration on Instagram and follow fashion accounts was your favorite what are you saying already told you where's your outfit from today pants and hard shoes or heat is but uh they get ya I'm la ruler now tell me what you're wearing today okay it's pretty simple because most of this is from Goodwill honestly this is from the super Crosley's Interbike so mom jeans from Goodwill and like my to one of my two pairs of shoes my converse so amazing and then do you have any style inspiration or no just sort of comfortable but like if I needed to run away from something I feel that yeah I spent so much time on Instagram I think that's probably where 90% of my desperation is I'm a big like the jacket person so like even if I have a sweatshirt on t-shirt on I always have something go for it so the t-shirt is the least important thing in my entire outfit usually it's the jacket or whatever it's over time with that we'll start from the top we've got Diamond Supply Co Road blazers is like a really cool company these are every polos 1upon so like I'm the only one who passes I guess he's special we'll see about that into Levi's thrifted jeans from the vintage twin not not too far from here on the bottom we've got off-white Concord jewelry I've got a Gucci ring and I've got a deal hi I'm Victoria Tori Tori beam whatever you wanna call me I watched bottom band vloggers in Australia that is like my niche that I love right now so I feel like this is kind of their vibe of like very baggy clothes comfortable I'm also pregnant so I've had to figure out how to style myself I've just been like trying to figure out how to style this huge belly that looks like a beer belly a little bit but it's not I swear it's baby butt and my jacket is dripping from Goodwill it's 5 bucks from necessary clothing crushing it and then this robber situation is from Amazon actually because maternity stuff on Amazon is just clutch okay honestly that turned out a lot better than I expected that was so fun I probably got rejected to solve like 50% of the times but you know it was a good exercise even putting myself out there you know experiencing rejection shout-out to everyone that was willing to be the video that was super cool and yeah it was really fun kind of perusing the streets of New York if they're looking for a fun fashion or trends or people that just caught our eye so that was in the Soho area of New York if you guys like this video would be super fun to make it into a series and do it like based off seasons or different parts of New York because what people are wearing and Soho it's gonna be a lot to come then what people are wearing and like Bushwick and Brooklyn or in Harlem and so you could be really interesting to me you know mix it up via area but yeah today was another first warm days in a while we're Stefanelli finally easing into spring which is really nice so it's fun seeing some like born with her outfits they're like it's really hard to like nail down on a certain chance because that's the kind of the beauty of New York is everyone has such unique style and clothing choice ups influenced by so many different things
